Method For Determining Zipper Strength

①Transverse Tension Of Zipper (2.5cm)

Determination Of The Tensile Strength Of Ordinary Zippers: This Is A Method Used To Express The Strength Of General Zippers. In The State Of The Zipper Being Engaged, As Shown In The Figure, The Zipper Is Measured At An Angle Perpendicular To The Direction Of The Zipper And A Force At A Fixed Speed.


(2) Tension Resistance Of The Top Of The Zipper

The Bottom End Of The Zipper Is Fixed, And Then The Chain Head Is Pulled To The Top End. The Tension Resistance Can Be Measured By Applying Force To The Buckle Located At The Top Of The Zipper. This Is The Test Method For Measuring The Strength Of The Top Stop

(3) Tension Resistance At The Bottom Of The Zipper

This Test Is To Test The Ability Of The Lower Stop Tensile Failure, Pull The Buckle To The Bottom Of The Chain, Two Flat Chains One Left And One Right, Can Measure The Bottom End Tension, To Measure The Strength Of The Lower Stop Retaining Force And The Resistance Strength Of The Teeth Inside The Pull Head

(4) Horizontal Tension Resistance At The Bottom Of The Zipper

The Lower Opening Part Of The Zipper Is Fixed To The Tension Detector (only The Lower Opening Part As Shown) So That The First Zipper Tooth At The Lower End Of The Zipper Is In A Horizontal Line With The Edge Of The Clamp, So That The Tension Resistance Can Be Measured.
⑤ Locking Strength Of The Pull Head

The Zipper Buckle Is Locked In The Middle Of The Zipper, And The Two Unengaged Zippers Are One Left And One Right To Measure The Locking Strength And The Resistance Strength Of The Teeth Inside The Pull Head.

The Comprehensive Strength Of The Pull Head (90°)

Measure The Strength Of The Pull Head By Applying Force To The Pull Piece Of The Finished Pull Head And Under The Carcass. For A Complete Zipper Buckle, The Tension Resistance Of The Zipper Buckle Can Be Measured When The Force Is Applied To The Zipper Disc And Its Lower Zipper Part, In Addition To The 90° Measurement Method Shown In The Following Figure, There Is Also A 45° Measurement Method.
